We are pleased to announce the election of six new leaders to the GSA Board of Directors, including 2026 President Cassandra Extavour.

We invite GSA members who are tenured faculty or faculty at an institution without tenure system, or that hold a tenure-track position but are pre-tenure, to complete a brief survey that will help us assess current resources for mid-career members and collect information about resources or topics you would like GSA to develop.

This important program that provides GSA members of any career stage up to $2,000 in funding for a project that will have broad and far-reaching impacts to the field of genetics, is switching to a bi-annual rather than quarterly timeline in 2025.
