Hakhamanesh Mostafavi

Hakhamanesh Mostafavi is an Assistant Professor at NYU School of Medicine in the Center for Human Genetics and Genomics and the Department of Population Health. He earned his PhD in Biological Sciences from Columbia University under the mentorship of Molly Przeworski and completed postdoctoral training with Jonathan Pritchard at Stanford University. His lab develops computational and theoretical approaches to study the genetic basis and biology of human complex traits and diseases, integrating molecular and cellular insights with those from evolutionary and population genetics.
