Can Yang
Associate Editor, Statistical Genetics and Genomics
Can Yang earned his BS and M.Phil. degrees from Zhejiang University in 2003 and 2006, respectively, and completed his Ph.D. at HKUST in 2011. He then served as a postdoc (2011–2012) and associate scientist (2012–2014) at Yale. In 2017, Dr. Yang joined the Department of Mathematics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he currently holds the position of Dr. Tai-chin Lo Associate Professor of Science. Can and his lab have developed innovative statistical methods and computational tools for large-scale genetic and genomic data analysis.
